According to reports from Goal, Manchester United are set to offer Zlatan Ibrahimovic a bumper contract worth a staggering £34million.
The Sweden striker is on the lookout for a new club, having already confirmed he’s leaving PSG on a free transfer after firing them to four consecutive Ligue 1 titles.
Indeed, the 34-year-old has bagged an incredible 156 goals in 180 appearances during his four years in the French capital and Jose Mourinho is reportedly desperate to bring that firepower to Manchester United.
The Special One is set to succeed Louis van Gaal and according to Goal, has identified Zlatan as one of his key signings for his opening transfer window as Red Devils manager.
And in a bid to ensure they aren’t snubbed for the MLS – the 6 foot 5 star’s alternative next destination – United are preparing a contract offer that could see Ibrahimovic take home a monumental sum.
The deal will include an £8million signing-on bonus and a £250k wage packet. The twelve-month contract will also have the option of a further year which, if activated, will pocket the PSG icon a whopping £34million in total.
