Arsenal Sign Leicester Man, Everton To Unveil Leeds Man, Chelsea Swap Move

The Telegraph report Wrigglesworth, who helped the Foxes sign star players Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante, will join Arsenal officially in the next few weeks.

It is claimed Wrigglesworth is currently on gardening leave and will become the second member of Leicester’s highly-rated scouting team to leave in the last 12 months.

Rob Mackenzie joined Tottenham as head of player identification last February while the Foxes’ current head of recruitment – credited for signing Jamie Vardy – has also been linked with a move to the Emirates.

Sam Byram has reportedly passed a medical and will join Everton on a three-year contract, according to reports.

Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli claims Leeds midfielder Byram will be unveiled by the Toffees today.

Everton have agreed a fee of £3.7million for the 22-year-old, who was set to be out of contract in the summer.

Diego Costa

Chelsea could bring in Brazil striker Alexandre Pato after being hit by a Diego Costa injury scare.

The Spain international bruised his tibia in the 3-3 draw against Everton on Saturday and is a major doubt for the Blues’ trip to Arsenal on Sunday.

And according to The Telegraph, Costa’s injury could speed up Chelsea’s move for Corinthians striker Pato.

Stamford Bridge director Marina Granovskaia has held talks with the 26-year-old’s agent about a move.

Alexandre Pato

Any deal for Pato could impact on Loic Remy’s future with the Frenchman coveted by a number of Premier League clubs.

He also has a lucrative offer to play in China but Chelsea won’t let him leave if that puts them short of options up front.

And reports in Spain have claimed Costa is a January target for Atletico Madrid, who are facing a transfer ban this summer.
