Arsenal News: Talks confirmed, international regrets joining, Man United move for target

Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy regrets joining the club in 2014 and is desperate to move this month, L’Equipe report.

The France international has found opportunities under Arsene Wenger limited following the emergence of Hector Bellerin.

And Debuchy claims Wenger has misled him over his future, saying that he wanted to leave last summer but the Gunners boss said he would get more of a chance this season.

Debuchy has also confirmed to L’Equipe that he has held talks with Aston Villa.

The Premier League’s bottom club, Bayer Leverkusen and Roma are all battling to sign the 30-year-old this month.

And Debuchy says he has held positive talks with Villa boss Remi Garde but will take his time about making a decision on his future.

UNHAPPY: Mathieu Debuchy is desperate to leave Arsenal

Manchester United have opened talks over signing Ezequiel Lavezzi from Paris St-Grmain, Tribal Football claim.

The Argentinian is out of contract in the summer and has also been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea.

It is claimed PSG are ready to sell this month for £6.1m although a deal could be complicated by Lavezzi’s desire to return to Serie A having previously played for Napoli.

However, the Metro claim that United are hopeful of reaching an agreement and say the signing could be completed in the next few days.
