Arsenal will make a last-ditch attempt to seal the transfer of Paris Saint-Germain’s Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to reports.
The Gunners are looking to add to their squad in January and are aware of the Argentine forward’s availability.
Lavezzi’s contract expires at the end of the season and there is plenty of talk that he could be available for a cut-price fee in January.
Arsene Wenger is a big fan of the 30-year-old and believes that he would represent good value, according to Calciomercato (via Talksport).
Barcelona were believed to be the front-runners to land him and a deal was supposedly close.
But the Gunners are keen to scupper the Catalan giants’ plans.
