Having signed Petr Cech earlier in the week for £11million, Arsene Wenger has got Arsenal’s transfer business underway this summer.
The Arsenal boss brought in the experienced former Chelsea ‘keeper and he’s looking to make several more key signings as the Gunners look to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
As well as new additions, Wenger’s wary about the size of his squad and has shown his ruthless side by discarding Abou Diaby this summer.

Arsene Wenger set to axe six stars to fund transfer spree – report
Having signed Petr Cech earlier this week, Wenger is wary that he must offload some of his squad before making further signings this summer.
The Arsenal boss has already sent Podolski packing to Galatasaray and he’s looking to sell David Opsina, Carl Jenkinson, Mathieu Flamini, Joel Campbell and Yaya Sanogo this summer.
Though the group are unlikely to bring in significant funds, getting them off the wage bill will increase the chances of Arsenal signing a major star in the remainder of the transfer window.
