According to le 10 Sport, Real Madrid would consider the sale of Gareth Bale to Manchester United, not least because the European champions are keen on bringing Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu.
With 31 goals to date, Welshman Bale has impressed since making his 2013 move from Tottenham to the Spanish capital but, according to the report, could be sold if an offer of, wait for it, 110 million euros comes in. Yes, Real are seeking to make a profit, just a year after paying a world-record 100 million for Bale.
The money recouped could then be used to woo Hazard, who scored his eighth goal of the season on Saturday, away from Stamford Bridge.
Far-fetched? Probably, especially as Hazard is supposedly set to sign a newChelsea contract, although it did get us thinking about this question:
