Arsene Wenger To Leave Arsenal For AS Monaco?

Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger walks off at the end of the Barclays Pemier League match between Stoke City and Arsenal at the Britannia Stadium on March 1, 2014

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been approached by Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco to become the principality club’s new boss, according to a report.

The 64-year-old, whose future at the North London club is unclear after failing to pen a contract extension beyond the end of the current season, is allegedly on the shortlist of the French league club’s Russian owner Dmitry Rybolovlev.

Should incumbent manager Claudio Ranieri depart Monaco, then the principality club would offer Wenger an annual salary of £12.3m, according to the Independent.
