David Moyes will look to get his first win over Jose Mourinho on Sunday as his Manchester United side travel to Stamford Bridge. The champions met Chelsea at the beginning of the season with the game finishing 0-0 in a dire game.
Coming into the match, Moyes’ record against the Special One stands at four draws and five defeats. Man Utd’s record of late is very poor, with the Red Devils losing three of the four matches since the New Year.
The Blues come into this game on a five game winning run in all competitions. In those five victories, Chelsea have only conceded one goal and seem to have settled on a preferred starting 11.
United visited Chelsea three times last season, with their only winning coming in the Premier League. The other matches finished in defeats for the visitors.
Mourinho’s first even Premier League win was against Man Utd back in 2004 at the Bridge and he’ll be keen to continue his good form against the club. Chelsea are 1.77 to get the win while a victory Moyes and United is 5.30.
Chelsea new boy Nemanja Matic will not start on Sunday, but fellow midfielder Frank Lampard could return from a calf problem. Branislav Ivanovic remains sidelined with a knee injury.
Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie are out for the trip to Stamford Bridge. Meanwhile Rafael serves the last of his three-match ban.
