Exclusive – Vucinic’s Arsenal move hangs in the balance

Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic's move to Arsenal hangs in the balance

Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic’s move to Arsenal hangs in the balance.

The Gunners are keen to improve their options up front, following Nicklas Bendtner’s injury, and have targeted the Montenegrin hitman.

Talks are underway between the Serie A side and the north London club, talkSPORT understands, but there appears to be stumbling block in the way of any deal.

Arsene Wenger is keen to bring the 30-year-old to the Emirates on loan until the end of the season, while Juventus are only interested in a permanent £8million switch.

Talks with Real Madrid about striker Alvaro Moratta look to have stalled and the Frenchman has turned his attention to the experienced Vucinic, who joined Juve from Roma for €15million in 2011
